Leon W. L. Vaccarelli - Registered Representative - Owner/Founder

Leon founded Lux Financial Services in 2007 after nearly 8 years of owning and operating a franchise of a Large Corporate Financial Services Firm. A native of Waterbury, CT, Leon graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parochial School, Holy Cross High School, and graduated with honors from Johnson & Wales University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Upon graduation, Leon obtained his Securities Licenses as well as his Life and Health Insurance and Variable Contract licenses. Leon is a member of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, the Million Dollar Roundtable, an active volunteer for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parochial School and Parish, and is a donor and supporter of The American Red Cross. He has received many distinctions in his career, including the prestigious Family & Financial Security Award in 2003. Leon and his wife Monica reside in Waterbury where they are busy raising their young family.

Barry J. Michitsch - Registered Representative - Investment Executive

Barry has been a close friend of Leon Vaccarelli since their days as students at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parochial School. The financial firm they created is rooted in the traditional values and high standards of excellence that both Barry and Leon learned from an early age at Mt. Carmel School. Barry also graduated from Holy Cross High School, and in May of 2001 he graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor's of science degree in computer science and engineering. Upon graduation Barry taught Computer Science for two years when in 2003 he obtained his Securities, Life Insurance and Variable Contract licenses and joined Leon's Financial Planning Franchise where he was able to utilize his talents in computer technology and technical analysis. In his free time Barry enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Becky.
